Woolpops "CVM" Natural color roving. This listing is for 2.7 ounces of California Variegated Mutant wool. CVM is a critical conservation rare breed. This wool was grown domestically in the US by a farmer in Utah. The contributing sheep's name is Bombur. This wool is a nice variable light gray color.

According to The Fleece and Fiber Source Books (p. 296-301), "CVM's are multicolored with specific color patterning; the base color is often cream or gray." CVM typically has a staple length of 3-6 inches, and the wool is dense and soft, with a nice crimp from the base to the tip of each fiber. The wool is free from hair/ kemp. CVM is "rewarding and comfortable to spin."
